Sound designer John Valasis recently sampled two of Dust Bowl Cinematic’s musical instruments, the Aeolian Harp and the Bell Guitar, for the MOOD REEL 11 in Ableton. These cinematic sounds are designed to create a range of emotions and moods, from intimacy and wonder to tension and suspense.

The MOOD REEL 11 features an array of sounds, including creepy experimental noises and tense rhythms that can drive tracks into the darkness, as well as shimmering synths that can foster a feeling of wonder. By sampling Dust Bowl Cinematic’s Aeolian Harp and Bell Guitar, Valasis was able to capture their unique qualities and create new sounds that can be used in a variety of musical contexts.
