The Yaybahar is a unique and mesmerizing musical instrument that combines elements of both a stringed instrument and a percussion instrument. It is made from a combination of wood and metal, with a resonator made from a large drum. The instrument is played by plucking or bowing the strings, which are attached to a series of springs that are suspended over the resonator. As the strings vibrate, they create a mesmerizing and otherworldly sound that is both haunting and beautiful.
The Yaybahar is an incredibly versatile instrument, capable of producing a wide range of sounds and tones. From deep, resonant bass notes to high-pitched melodies.
At Dust Bowl Cinematic, we have taken the original design of Görkem Şen and created our own version of the Yaybahar.
